Wine branding & innovation

After finishing his education in biodynamic agriculture, Derrick Neleman (1977), entrepreneur and innovator, started working on a farm in Germany. There he discovered his passion for wine. Back home he founded Lovian (2001), a company that introduced Fairtrade wines to the Benelux. Moreover, thanks to Lovian organic wines are now widely available in the Netherlands. In 2008 Derrick produced the DVD Kissed by the Grape, a feel-good film about organic wine. His latest project is the foundation of By the Grape (2009): an interactive wine concept, consisting of a wine portal, webshop, wine magazine and tasting rooms.
